Darker Than Wax (SG): “Rah – Strain:Santai”

DARKER THAN WAX Record Label (Singapore)
Hailing from the tropical island of Singapore, the label carries forward the spirit of the funk by absorbing andreinterpreting the influences of the boogie, electro-funk, early house, hip-hop, cosmic beats and the like. It seeks out artists with similar vibrations, and provides them the platform for uncompromised creativity in their musical output. Got soul, will dance.

The guest blend series goes deep into home ground territories with a quality mix-tape by selector RAH, who was very kind to take time out and share with us her recent musical forays.  You know you are onto something good when the mix kicks off with a proper afro latin-heat by the one and only Quantic, before delving into the dub and hip-hop realm.
We shall keep the words to a minimum, and let the tunes do the talking. Enjoy this nugget, as we certainly did at the DTW camp.
